Guinea and Cameroon Set For U17 AFCON Final

As the Under 17 Africa Cup of Nations tournament draws to a close in Tanzania, Guinea and Cameroon prepare to go head-to-head in the final.

Guinea took on Nigeria in the semi-final at National Stadium in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday, securing victory through a penalty shoot-out. The Cameroonian side also beat Angola on penalties, 4-3, after a goalless match.

The final is scheduled for Sunday 28 April. It will be the first time the Guinean side have qualified for the U17 AFCON Final. On Saturday 27 April Nigeria and Angola will fight it out for third and fourth place.

All four semi-finalists, Guinea, Cameroon, Angola and Nigeria, have qualified for the U17 Fifa World Cup scheduled to take place in Brazil this November.
