Kenyan Footballer Admin Swaleh Among 157 Dead In Plane Crash

Kenyan footballer Admin Swaleh is among the 32 Kenyans who were killed when an Ethiopian Airlines flight crashed shortly after take off on Sunday morning. 

Swaleh was a former Football Kenya Federation (FKF) General Secretary, with his death confirmed by current FKF President Nick Mwenda. Commenting on the tragedy on Twitter Mwenda stated, "Sad day for football. You were doing what you loved most. Fare thee well my chairman. Until we meet again." 

According to Swaleh’s itinerary he has been travelling from Alexandria, Egypt, after a CAF Champions League match on Friday evening at which he was the match commissioner.
