Bomb Claims 11 Lives in Mogadishu

A bomb explosion on Thursday claimed the lives of at least 15 people in Mogadishu, Somalia. The device, reported as being a car bomb, went off on a busy area of the capital near a hotel and restaurants. Many more are thought to have been wounded in the attach.

Although no group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack al-Shabab are active in the area and have been fighting to overthrow the government.
