Rwanda Set To Host NBA’s Africa League Final

Rwanda has been selected as the host city for the first semi-final and championship games of the Basketball Africa League (BAL).

Backed by the NBA the League will see 12 teams from across the continent compete with one another. The teams will be divided into two six team groups and each play five group matches. The top ranking three teams in each group will then proceed to the playoffs.

Regular-season games will be hosted in Cairo, Egypt; Dakar, Senegal; Lagos, Nigeria; Luanda, Angola; Rabat, Morocco and either Tunis or Monastir in Tunisia.

The League will begin in March 2020. Nike and Jordan Brand will provide the official uniforms and gear for six of the clubs.
