Kenya’s Gor Mahia Make CAF Quarters

Kenya’s Gor Mahia are set to play in their first quarter finals of the CAF Confederation Cup following their 1-0 victory over Angola’s Petro Atletico on Sunday. The winning goal came from striker Jacques Tuyisenge who took a penalty during the 56th minute.

The match was a close contest. While Gor Mahia dominated play in the first half, they suffered the lost of both Ernest Wendo and Shafik Batambuze as a result of two red cards. 

The draw for the next round will take place on Wednesday March 20.
