Four Killed in Mogadishu Blast
A bomb explosion in central Mogadishu has killed four people and wounded an additional nine on Thursday.
Jihadist group Al-Shabaab have claimed responsibility for the attack, which is believed to have originated in a car packed with explosives parked near a restaurant.
In a statement claiming responsibility Al-Shabaab said, "fighters targeted one of the checkpoints of the palace apostates."
The incident follows an attack in the capital earlier this month in which at least 20 were killed as jihadists fought security forces.
