CAF Sacks General Secretary
The Confederation of African Football has sacked its general secretary Amr Fahmy ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations scheduled for June and July of this year.
Fahmy was appointed in 2017. Both His father and grandfather have previously served in the role. No immediate reason was given for his dismissal. Reports suggest that CAF’s general coordinator Morocco’s Mouad Hajji could be in line to take over the role.
