Dozens killed as market shelled in Khartoum's twin city
The Sudanese health authorities say that 34 people, including children, have been killed by what they describe as random shelling of a market in the city of Omdurman.
It is not yet clear who carried out the attack on Tuesday.
On Saturday, 45 people were killed in an air strike in the city, which lies across the River Nile from the capital, Khartoum.
Fighting between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has been going on for three months.
More than 3,000 people have been killed.
