More bodies wash up on Ethiopia-Sudan border river

A doctor in the Sudanese border town where bodies have recently been discovered in a river says he's seen two more bodies wash up this morning.

Dr Tewodros Tefera says he has now personally seen 12 of a total of 30 corpses that have been retrieved over the past few days from the Setit River which is known as Tekeze in Ethiopia.

The site is close to the Sudan-Ethiopian border, and the river flows from the Ethiopian region of Tigray where there has been many months of fighting.

The BBC has seen video footage of one of the bodies discovered this morning.
