Crowds express support for Ethiopia army in conflict

Huge crowds are gathering in Ethiopia's capital Addis Ababa at Meskel Square to demonstrate in support of the army.

The national army has clashed with fighters loyal to the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) for months.

Those supporting the army are blaming the TPLF for the conflict.

The conflict is spreading to neighbouring states and humanitarian aid has not reached civilians.

More people are fleeing Tigray and neighbouring regions.
